Genre/Subgenre Question

For the Popsugar 2017 Reading Challenge, I'm supposed to read a book in a genre/subgenre I've never heard of before. Problem is, I read a lot and I don't know what's out there that I haven't heard of before... because I haven't heard of it. Suggestions?
